ARENA AND EVENT COMPLEX IN THE HEART OF YELLOWSTONE COUNTRY

Billings, Montana, is home to the multi-facility event venue, MetraPark. With a 10,000-seat arena, a 77,400-square-foot Expo Center and a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, the venue welcomes events of all types and sizes. The 28,800-square-foot Montana Pavilion can hold up to 480 seated guests. The open exhibit hall concept can accommodate groups of any size, whether it is a large conference or banquet. The venue can also accommodate your group if you are planning an intimate retreat. MetraPark offers a total of 10 breakout rooms in a variety of sizes, and there are several additional indoor and outdoor spaces located throughout the complex.

The 4,884-square-foot Yellowstone Room opens onto a large patio for groups planning an indoor-outdoor event. Chelsea Plaza is a three-acre outdoor park with a pond that is ideal for group recreation and team-building activities. A variety of additional buildings cater to whatever activity your group is planning.

MetraPark operates on-site concession stands for large events. A variety of local suppliers that are approved by MetraPark are available to provide catering services for meetings or private events. The latest audiovisual equipment is available. The facility’s 85 acres of parking make this a good option for large gatherings. With more than 4,200 hotel rooms in the area, groups planning a multi-day function will find an abundance of overnight accommodations.

Set in the center of a vast mountain panorama, Billings has plenty to offer meeting planners. The largest city between Spokane and Minneapolis, it delivers a walkable downtown with big-city amenities on the edge of the Western frontier.

The Brewing District Walking Tour is a 1.5-mile level walk through downtown Billings that passes historic and cultural sites, and several fine restaurants are also located among the breweries. The historic Alberta Blair Theater is an art deco piece of the region’s history offering regular performances. The downtown shopping district has stores featuring famous name brands along with specialty boutiques selling exclusive local creations.

Whether it is a cowboy cookout for the group, a journey by covered wagon across the Montana prairie or a trail ride through Custer’s Battlefield National Monument, there are several unique western-themed team-building activities.
