Bell Harbor International Conference Center

EXPANSIVE WATERFRONT VIEWS AND EXQUISITE FACILITY ON SEATTLE’S ELLIOTT BAY

The Olympic Mountains rise in the distance, and ferries ply their way across Puget Sound forming the scenic backdrop to the Bell Harbor International Conference Center. Anchoring Seattle’s bustling waterfront, Bell Harbor is a modern meeting and event destination facility.

With more than 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, the facility can handle 25 guests for a small get-together or more than 1,000 for a large conference. Trade show organizers will appreciate the spacious halls that can accommodate 200 booths. The 12,000 square-foot Elliott Hall can serve up 800 guests in a theater-style setup and 1,800 for a reception. With 25 meeting rooms of varying sizes, the facility can meet the needs of any conference or event planner. Combine Elliott Hall with the International Promenade and the Pier 66 exterior apron, and you will have a unique reception site that can accommodate 4,100 guests.

Bay Auditorium, designed as an indoor amphitheater, offers a professional environment, ideal for a general session or presentation. State-of-the-art lighting and sound equipment enhances the speaker’s presentation, and Herman Miller executive chairs provide maximum comfort for the attendees. The auditorium seats 220 with the executive chairs or 300 with smaller banquet-style chairs.

Planners should consider holding an end-of-conference reception on the center’s Rooftop Plaza that features views of Seattle skyline, Mount Rainier and the sunsets over Elliott Bay. The Outdoor Terrace, stretching along the waterfront side of the Conference Center, is a nice space for meeting attendees to stretch their legs and enjoy the fresh air during an afternoon break.

The facility offers a dedicated onsite planning team to help you take care of all the details and the staffed concierge desk is available for assistance during the event. High-speed WiFi (free for speeds up to 20 Mbps) is available throughout the facility with enough bandwidth to support hundreds of users at a time. The technology team will provide the latest in conference audiovisual technology including video conferencing and webcast capabilities.

The catering staff offers a variety of menus to meet the needs of any group. Locally-sourced, sustainable and organic options highlight the offerings. Bell Harbor takes its green initiatives seriously. From the use of water stations rather than bottled water and the use of white boards rather than paper flip charts to facilitating electronic presentations rather than paper handouts, environmentally conscious groups will appreciate the commitment that the facility is making.

Convenient lodging accommodations are only a few steps away. Located adjacent to the Conference Center, the Edgewater Hotel has 223 guest rooms, and the 358-guest-room Seattle Marriott Waterfront is across the street from Bell Harbor. Convenient parking for the Conference Center is available at the nearby Bell Street Pier Garage.

Conference participants will want to schedule extra time to stroll along the Seattle waterfront. The Seattle Aquarium and the Seattle Great Wheel, a large Ferris Wheel, are only a few blocks from Bell Harbor. The area is home to many fine restaurants and the world-famous Pike Place Market is nearby.
