NEWLY REFURBISHED LANDMARK HOTEL IN DOWNTOWN SEATTLE
Twin cylindrical towers rising above downtown Seattle make Westin Seattle Hotel a distinctive sight in the center of the city. The conveniently-located hotel has just completed a comprehensive multi-million-dollar renovation of the meeting and event spaces.
The hotel’s 29 newly-transformed meeting rooms feature brand new carpeting, bright contemporary wall covering, interesting artwork and modern energy-efficient lighting. Digital signage and upgraded sound systems have been added to the event spaces. Escalators now whisk visitors directly from the lobby to the fourth floor, home of the Grand Ballroom and additional meeting spaces.
The hotel offers more than 50,000 square feet of indoor meeting and event rooms in addition to expansive pre-function areas that can accommodate gatherings of all sizes. The 18,030-square-foot Grand Ballroom holds as many as 2,000 guests in a theater-style arrangement. The 10,500-square-foot Grand Foyer open space on the fourth floor provides ample space for pre-function or check-in activities.
Located on the Mezzanine level, the 5,200-square-foot Cascade Ballroom has a theater-style capacity of 580. The Cascade Ballroom can be divided into four sections, and this level offers a variety of breakout rooms.
The facility features more than 10,000 square feet of small, private meeting venues that can accommodate anywhere from 10 to 250 attendees. The smaller rooms include the Seattle Suite that offers panoramic views of the city and Puget Sound, and the Puget Sound Room that has a unique curved layout.
The professional catering staff will assist in developing a menu to compliment your group’s meeting or event. State-of-the-art audiovisual systems and a professional support staff will enhance any function. High-speed internet connectivity is available in the meeting rooms and complimentary WiFi is available in the common areas.
With 891 guest rooms, the hotel can accommodate multi-day conferences with ease. Overnight guests will find two food and beverage options on site and a wide variety of restaurants just a few steps from the front doors.
The hotel is within walking distance of the Washington State Convention Center making it an excellent overnight option for convention and trade show attendees. It is also convenient to all of downtown Seattle’s attractions. The Pike Place Market and Seattle waterfront are only a few blocks away, and a quick ride on the Seattle Center Monorail provides access to the Space Needle and Seattle Center attractions.
