Resting on the shores of one of Montana’s most attractive lakes, the Lodge at Whitefish Lake gives guests all the modern amenities coupled with a mountain lodge experience. Featuring more than 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space in 11 meeting rooms, the lodge welcomes groups ranging in size from three to several hundred. The 6,366 square-foot Grand Ballroom, providing theater-style or banquet seating for 400 guests, is the hub of activity for conferences and special events. For pre-function activities and receptions, groups can use the indoor lobby area or enjoy the fresh mountain air on the expansive Great Northern Terrace
The Grand Ballroom can be divided into thirds for smaller gatherings or breakout sessions. Smaller rooms such as the Executive Boardroom, the Lakeview Regatta Room and the Boat Club Private Dining Room are suitable for corporate retreats, board meetings or other intimate gatherings. The Lakeside Pavilion and lawns offer a picturesque setting for meals or a reception on the shore of the lake.
The lodge offers five separate dining options, from a quick bite to a sophisticated dining experience. On-site catering offers meal and refreshment options to meets the needs of any group.
The Main Lodge and nearby Viking Lodge combine to offer 117 guest rooms. Lakefront condominiums, offering from two to six bedroom units, and the fully-equipped Viking Creek Luxury Homes provide a wealth of additional sleeping options. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the facility, and the lodge offers free parking.
The newly-renovated Spa at Whitefish Lake offers a full array of services, allowing attendees the opportunity to relax after a long day of meetings. The lodge’s shuttle service takes guests into downtown Whitefish to enjoy art galleries, shopping, dining and nightlife fun.
The staff at the lodge can also arrange a variety of team building and post-conference activities. Groups can enjoy a tour of Whitefish Lake or a scenic sunset cruise on the lodge’s private boat, and nearby charters will take guests to the lake’s prime trout-fishing spots. The Whitefish Mountain Resort, only minutes from the lodge, features winter skiing and summer recreation. Glacier National Park is only 35 minutes away, offering spectacular day-trip opportunities.
Whitefish is one of the most accessible mountain towns in North America. The town is a scenic two-and-a-half-hour drive from Missoula. Glacier Park International Airport, with direct flights to many major cities, is only 15 minutes away, and the Amtrak Empire Builder offers a rail connection to Whitefish from Seattle and Portland.
