A renovated mid-20th century motor inn, the Jupiter Hotel is located in Portland, Oregon’s vibrant east side. Fitting comfortably in with the lively vibe of the East Burnside neighborhood, the Jupiter welcomes groups for meetings, conferences, retreats or special events. The hip décor and stylish furnishings will draw out your group’s creative spirit. The Jupiter can accommodate groups as small as five or as large as 250 in a variety of one-of-a-kind spaces.
Lined with lush bamboo and adorned with crystal chandeliers, the 2,800-square-foot DreamTent is a covered outdoor space that can accommodate up to 187 guests in a theater-style setup or 250 for a reception. The natural, yet elegant, space has a built-in tiered stage for presentations or conference speakers.
Located in the back corner of the DreamTent, the DreamBox is a 1,000-square-foot indoor space that can seat 60 theater-style or accommodate 75 for a reception. Large windows immerse the space in natural light, while the built-in audiovisual system and a full chalkboard wall make it ideal for a board retreat, sales meeting or seminar.
The hotel’s most popular meeting space is the ThinkTank. Located adjacent to the hotel’s courtyard, this 392-square- foot space can accommodate between 12 and 20 seated guests, depending on the setup. The chalkboard walls and full audiovisual system will facilitate a productive brainstorming session or board presentation.
The LAB is the hotel’s most unique meeting space. With mirrored walls and contemporary furnishings, the room can hold up to 20 for an off-site meeting, board retreat or evening reception. Chalkboard walls, white boards and a built-in flat screen TV will support any presentation.
For overnight guests, the hotel’s 81 rooms offer a variety of environments from the lively atmosphere on the “Bar Patio Side” of the hotel to a retreat-like ambience of the quiet “Chill Side” rooms. Guest rooms feature a contemporary design and comfortable furnishings. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the facility.
Groups that want to begin their day gathering over breakfast or unwind after a long day of meetings should check out the Doug Fir Lounge. Neighboring the hotel, the Doug Fir Lounge is one of Portland’s most renowned restaurant and music venues.
The Jupiter’s location makes it easily accessible for guests from around Portland or those coming from out of town. Parking is available onsite and the city’s public transportation system connects guests to the entire region. The Oregon Convention center is only eight blocks away and Portland’s downtown is a short ride across the Willamette River.
