Travel Portland Moves into a New Space

Travel Portland, the official destination marketing organization for the city of Portland, has moved into a new space. After 16 years at its previous location, Travel Portland relocated to a new facility at Southwest First and Main that is a reflection of the unique, collaborative and creative city.

“Portland is an aspirational destination for domestic and international travelers, and the Travel Portland team has grown over the years to meet the demands of leisure, business and group travel to the region,” states Jeff Miller, president and CEO of Travel Portland.

“To accommodate our larger staff, we conducted an extensive two-year search for the right space that would lend itself to a true expression of the Portland spirit. We’re grateful to the local artisans who have helped make this new office a testament to the creative minds and makers of the Rose City and Oregon.”

The new location immerses staff as well as meeting planners, international tour operators and other industry partners in a veritable showcase of Portland style and sensibility. Wherever possible, artists and makers from around Portland and Oregon were tapped to contribute custom-made furniture, accessories and décor.

“As the destination marketing organization for Portland, we want everyone who enters our offices to feel excited and inspired by the surroundings,” offered Miller. “A collaborative effort with local artists and makers has resulted in a space that will do just that. We’re excited to move in and invite others in for the experience.”

The space is located at 100 S.W. Main St., Suite 1100, Portland, Oregon, 97204, and the organization may still be contacted by phone at 503-275-9750 or at 800-962-3700. Travel Portland’s Visitor Information Center will remain in Pioneer Courthouse Square at 701 S.W. Sixth Avenue, Portland, Oregon, 97205.
