The Suttle Lodge & Boathouse

Tucked amid the tall Ponderosa pines along the shores of Central Oregon’s picturesque Suttle Lake, the Suttle Lodge & Boathouse has recently undergone a major renovation. The historic Main Lodge, the Boathouse and guest cabins are now an ideal mountain-lake getaway. The rustic, yet comfortable ambience provides the perfect atmosphere for a productive business meeting or a fun retreat.

The Den, located on the second floor of the Main Lodge, can accommodate 40 guests for a conference or presentation and 30 for a banquet. Vintage chairs and a large fireplace add a cozy touch, while the big-screen television is available for your presentation. The room’s balcony offers fresh, mountain air and views of the lake. Complementary WiFi is available in the lodge and cabins. The onsite restaurant staff offers full-service catering for any meeting or event.

Additional meeting and event space is available in the second-floor dining room of the lakeside Boathouse restaurant. Bright walls and lake views highlight this open space that has capacity of about 30. The room is ideal for a group dinner or working lunch. Several outdoor spaces are available for summertime events and for group activities. The Beer Garden is inviting for post-meeting down time.

A variety of overnight accommodations are available. The Main Lodge has 11 guest rooms and there are six fully-equipped, modern cabins. An additional eight rustic “camp cabins” and three campgrounds, situated around the lake, accommodate guests seeking an outdoor mountain experience.

The Suttle Lodge & Boathouse is the perfect venue for a base camp to enjoy outdoor activities in the area. Summer kayak and canoe rentals allow guests to explore the natural beauty of the lake while the beach at the lodge is perfect for swimming and stand-up paddle boarding. Santiam Pass, only 10 minutes from the lodge, has an array of recreational activities from winter downhill and cross-country skiing to summer hiking. Lawn games on the lodge’s grounds accommodate groups seeking a more leisurely activity.

Interesting boutiques and a variety of dining opportunities await visitors 13 miles from Suttle Lake in the charming western-themed town of Sisters. Suttle Lodge & Boathouse is located along U.S. 20, about 40 minutes from Bend and a scenic two-hour drive from Salem. For visitors from farther afield, the Redmond airport, Roberts Field, has daily flights from major West Coast cities and is about 30 minutes from Suttle Lake.
