The Porter Portland, Curio Collection by Hilton

PREMIER HOTEL OPENING SOON IN PORTLAND

Rising 16 stories above downtown Portland, Oregon, The Porter Portland will be the newest hotel in Hilton’s Curio Collection. The property will blend the indulgence of a premium hotel with the outdoor lifestyle for which the city is famous.

The central location is convenient to all the shopping, dining and entertainment that the walkable city has to offer. Portland’s renowned performing arts center, Keller Auditorium, is just a few steps away. Two blocks from the hotel, the Tom McCall Waterfront Park offers Willamette River views and miles of walking or jogging paths.

The venue will offer more than 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space in a variety of flexible configurations. Event spaces range from the Stumptown Room, with a seated capacity of 65, to the Rose City Ballroom that can accommodate up to 240. The Indie is an intimate boardroom that is ideal for an executive retreat or planning session of up to 10 participants. The latest audiovisual equipment will be able to supplement any presentation, and full-service catering will be available.

With 297 beautifully-furnished guest rooms, event participants will be tempted to linger a few days to enjoy the city’s attractions. Upper floor rooms will have sweeping views of the city, the Willamette River and the Cascade Mountains. Italian linens and complimentary WiFi are available in the comfortable guest rooms.

The hotel’s restaurants will offer a variety of cuisine and dining experiences. Terrane Italian Kitchen + Bar will offer Italian favorites in an upscale atmosphere. The rooftop Xport Bar + Lounge will feature small plates and terrific views. Two outdoor dining decks with fire pits will offer guests the opportunity to enjoy views of the Cascade Range as they eat. Chiosco will be a take-out window serving pizzas to go and the Portland Exchange will provide picnic baskets and to-go food for
patrons on the run.

For after-meeting relaxation, guests can indulge in the Meditation Spa and the fitness center. A full range of fitness activities, including classes in meditation and yoga will be offered. Portland’s Center for the Arts and the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, regularly offering entertainment from opera and ballet to concerts and lectures, are only steps away from the venue. With the Portland MAX light rail only a short walk from the hotel’s doorstep, all of Portland is easily accessible to hotel guests.
