Loge Entrada Opens Near Bend, OR
A new opportunity for group meetings and activities recently opened in Central Oregon. Loge Co., a fast-growing boutique hotel chain created specifically for the outdoor industry, announced the opening of Loge Entrada, just minutes from Bend. “Our properties don’t look or feel like a traditional hotel. We offer groups the ability to connect with the outdoors in a natural setting while they meet,” says Johannes Ariens, co-founder of Loge Co.
The Central Oregon setting will become the organization’s largest location with 80 custom-designed guest rooms. Rooms range from community-style hostels to traditional private rooms. The facility offers a natural setting for guests who enjoy the outdoor recreational activities in the region. The venue will have an on-site restaurant, a live performance stage, a retail shop and even storage areas for bike and ski equipment.
“We offer groups the ability to transition between indoor and outdoor spaces and create unique retreat and team-bonding opportunities,” says Ariens. He adds, “The facility is ideal for groups between 30 and 75.” The ability for groups to get outside easily and seamlessly transition from an indoor meeting to an outdoor activity offers an exceptional experience. “People leave our facilities with a different feeling than when they attend a meeting or event at a traditional hotel. Groups enjoy a unique bonding experience at our facility,” explains Ariens.
The staff at Loge can assist in creating a customized group activity to complement your meeting or retreat. The outdoor kitchens entice groups to do a communal cookout or simply enjoy an evening campfire. Groups wanting active adventure have a variety of pursuits to choose from. A mountain bike trail that is accessible to all skill levels runs through the property, and the region has hiking trails that cater to any level of ability. The staff can also help organize a Deschutes River rafting experience or provide shuttle service for snow skiers. “We aim to be a one-stop source for our guests,” says Ariens.
The Bend location joins Loge Co. locations in Westport and Leavenworth, Washington. Each venue offers a custom experience built around the unique features of their location.
