Headlands Coastal Lodge and Spa Opens in Pacific City, OR
Overlooking the surf breaking onto Haystack Rock and the dory boats as they launch from the Pacific City Beach, Oregon’s newest luxury coastal getaway recently opened its doors. The wide sandy beach entices walkers and beachcombers, while surfers ride the Pacific Ocean waves, and fishing boats bob in the surf. Headlands Coastal Lodge and Spa is an attractive option for corporate and team retreats, executive strategy sessions and small conferences.
Groups looking for a quiet oceanside retreat will enjoy the relaxing environment of Headlands. The venue has two flexible meeting rooms that are connected by a protected courtyard. Each of the meeting rooms can accommodate up to 20 attendees. Headlands provides state-of-the-art visual resources, while Meridian, the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant, provides food and beverage service.
The area offers a wide variety of activities for groups. The Headlands Adventure Coaches will help you design and deliver a special activity or team-building experience for the group. Take a fresh-air break with a walk along the beach or a bike ride around Pacific City. Activities include fishing, kayaking, dory boat trips and horseback rides along the beach. A brewery tour at the nearby Pelican Brewing Company can be an interesting diversion.
For overnight guests, Headlands has 33 Oceanfront Lodge guest rooms and 18 Oceanfront Cottages. The condo-style cottages have either two or three bedrooms and sleep up to six. Rooms all have ocean views and private balconies. The venue provides complimentary WiFi and free parking for guests.
To relax after a day of meetings, guests should check out the venue’s Tidepools Spa. The spa offers the opportunity for a relaxing escape with a massage, detoxifying body treatment or a soak in the outdoor hot tub. The wellness center is a full-service exercise studio offering exercise, yoga and meditation classes.
Headlands is located midway between Tillamook and Lincoln City, Oregon, in the quaint coastal town of Pacific City. It is about thirty minutes from Tillamook and less than two hours from Portland.
