Copper King Hotel and Convention Center

After sitting idle for more than two years, Butte’s Copper King Hotel and Convention Center will soon spring back to life. A long-time mainstay of the community and a popular meeting space, the hotel closed in 2014. Now, a May, 2017, opening is planned for the completely refurbished facility. The hotel has been thoroughly remodeled and feels brand new.

The venue offers a variety of spaces for meetings and events. With a maximum capacity of 500 guests, the hotel is great for a conference, seminar or corporate meeting. Additional rooms and suites provide space for breakout sessions and executive retreats. The audio-visual and lighting systems are now state of the art and the hotel offers complimentary WiFi.

Multi-day conferences will find they can be accommodated in the venue’s 91 guest rooms and suites. The penthouse suite showcases a fireplace and copper tub. Premium dining and room service will be provided by the Rib and Chop House Restaurant.

Located directly across from Butte’s Bert Mooney Airport and offering easy access to I-90 and I-15, the Copper King Hotel and Convention Center is convenient for local groups and for planners who want to bring in a group from farther away. With daily flights to Salt Lake City, the airport offers connections to all the major cities of the region. The hotel is only five miles from historic downtown Butte with a variety of shopping, dining, entertainment and arts and culture options.
